A lovely village situated off the A140 Ipswich to Norwich road. The village itself is quite spread out with a mixture of period, thatched, red tiled cottages and new properties which climb the street on either side of a triangular green and with the post office and pub (The Swan) located at the southern end.
The Swan occupies a fabulous 15th Century, Grade II listed building and is well worth a visit. It is well known for having a wide selection of real ales, regular summer beer festivals and a good restaurant.
