Hinderclay is a small village lying approximately 8 miles north-west of Eye and 6 miles south of Diss. Down the main street, all the house bar one are set well back from the road, the one that isn’t was the old pub, now no longer a going concern.
Whilst being rural, the village is only a quarter of a mile or so away from the larger villages of Rickinghall and Botesdale and all their amenities.
