Burston is a small village situated approximately 3 miles to the north of the market town of Diss and 2 miles from the A140 Ipswich to Norfolk road.
The village comprises modern detached dwellings to the western half of the village whilst the eastern half comprises of several ribbons of mainly semi-detached properties. Although scattered, and surrounded by fields Burston is an active village.
